Each fall students in 2nd, 5th, 8th & 10th grade have their vision and hearing screened at school. The screening is done by a team of 2-3 volunteers and nurses including the SVUSD nurse.

Students who wear glasses must bring them to school on the vision screening day. Students who do not pass the the first screening will be re-screened by the district nurse on another date. Parents will be notified by mail if their child does not pass the second screening.
