There is an active Student Council at SVMS. 6th grade elections are held at the end of September. All students are welcome to run for any of the 6th grade representative positions. Seventh and Eighth grade student council elections are held in June for the following year. Student Council runs dances, does service projects and fundraisers at the school, and helps to support student activities.
