Returning and Pre-registered Students 

 - Complete Steps 1 - 4 on the Scotts Valley Unified School District registration pagePrint and sign the 4 annual documents that require a signature in Step 2.  

- Complete the SVMS Annual Registration for Returning and Pre-Registered Students google form

- Here at SVMS, we are dedicated to assisting with your child's educational needs.  Please complete the Educational Supply Needs for SVMS  google form to let us know how we can assist you (Chromebooks, school supplies, etc.).

NEW Students to SVUSD

Please contact the school office at 831.438.0610, or email the registrar Jenn Perry at  to begin a new student registration.

To begin registration process for a new student we will need:

  1.  Age Verification – the following documents will be accepted:
    • Certified copy of birth record
    • Statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth
    • Baptism certificate
    • Passport
    • When none of the foregoing is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent, guardian, or
    custodian, or any other appropriate means of proving the child’s age.
  2. Current Immunization Record
  3. Address Verification – two of the following documents will be accepted:
    • Property tax payment receipts
    • Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts
    • Utility service contract, statements, or payment receipts
    • Pay stubs
    • Voter registration
    • Correspondence from a government agency
    • Declaration of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of the student.



6th grade students coming from Vine Hill and Brook Knoll:

Your child is considered a "Returning Student", a "roll-up" within the SVUSD district.
