NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to Mighty Dolphin, Owen M, this year's Santa Cruz County Spelling Bee Champion in the Junior Division!  Successfully spelling tough words such as "maneuver," "gamut," and "sergeant," he outscored the best spellers from across the county. Owen will go on to represent Santa Cruz County at the State Spelling Bee Championships  May 5th in Marin County. 


Congratulations to our amazing dolphin scientists!

These finalists will advance to the Santa Cruz County Science & Engineering Fair on March 10.

The 2nd Annual Scotts Valley Night at the Warriors is coming!  This is a fun home basketball game featuring our own G-League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors at Kaiser Permanente Arena on March 2, 2018, at 7pm. A portion of ticket sales will go to the Scotts Valley Sports Complex (SVSC) committee’s work to build an all-weather track and field at SVHS.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.groupmatics.events/SVNight, at any SV school or Zinnia’s on Mt. Hermon Rd. Baseline ($28) and sideline seats ($33) are available for the game.

SV students will also be participating in pre-game and half-time activities, as well as performing the national anthem.  Please join us at this fun event and support the SVSC!

Single Plan for Student Achievement

The Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is a plan of action to improve student academic performance by coordinating all educational services and resources.
Pursuant to California Ed. Code (EC) Section 64001 and the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), all schools that receive state and federal funds much create and publish a plan.
Our SPSA is reviewed and updated each year by our staff, in collaboration with our School Site Council.

Homework club is a quiet place to do homework after school.
It is staffed by an SVMS teacher, and all textbooks are available.
No need to sign up.  Just come in!
